VP is delighted to announce that one of our films was accepted into Cannes! VP has also recently delivered some mammoth packages: One of Australia’s largest holograms and the Logie Awards GFX package.
REA Group collaborated with creative agency V.I. and Visual Playground to produce one of the largest 360° hologram displays seen in Australia – an impressive four square metre pyramid. For more details and behind-the-scenes photos, click here.
Visual Playground is very excited that its VR documentary short, ‘Jafri’ – an intimate portrait of Jafri Kataga – has been selected to screen at Cannes Film Festival, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. This film launched the collaboration between Visual Playground and Otto Empire – PLaTO Reality.
Directed by Michael Beets, ‘Jafri’ premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival, had its North American debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, was chosen as part of the Kaleidoscope VR showcase and has now been officially released on the Jaunt platform.
For the Nine Network’s 59th Annual TV Week Logie Awards, VP delivered the branding and motion graphics package for the seventh consecutive year. The influences for the design came from imagining some of the world’s most iconic statues during the construction phase. Taking this architectural perspective, VP centred the design around the Gold Logie statue itself. Click here to see the GFX in action.
